Mrs. Bush

When my friend sent me an e-mail entitled Ms. Bush, I thought she had seen me that morning and responded, "For a moment I thought you saw my hair style this morning!!!!!! Then she asked, "Why? Did you do it? (guess she meant my much-needed haircut)" I responded thusly, and relayed what had happened to me while transporting boxes home (for my pending apartment move) via the ferryboat and bus.
No, no, it's just that my hair just looks like one large bush. I got caught in a whirlwind of really powerful wind on the ferry yesterday, and it's all over the place. I almost killed several passengers with my boxes too. they were the large size, in a flat mode, tied with cord. I decided to stand outside of the boat for the very end of the trip, so that I would be right up front and be able to gallop to the bus quickly and get my special "box accommodating seat." The wind was really strong (i.e. I almost got slammed against the stone wall of 1 NY plaza when I left here and the wind caught me and the side of the boxes). So, I realized I would have to hold the boxes sideways to the wind, which I did for the most part (while hanging on for dear life with all my strength). But at one point, the wind took a turn and swiveled my boxes sideways. At this point the wind really just about lifted me, and the (^)^*%&*&$*% boxes, and I couldn't hold my footing. Of course, I went slamming into the man behind me, then the other people all around me. It was a comedy of errors. I couldn't stop banging into people. The more I tried to position myself and hold my ground, the more new people I banged into. The man behind me told me to hold them sideways, but I couldn't manage it (the wind was like hurricane gales). Anyway, I ended up getting pushed to the side of the boat with the boxes in front of me smashing me against the railing. I stayed there, as if with centrifugal force, against the railing. The other passengers looked at me with amusement and confidence that that was the best and safest place for me (safest for them). You know, it is conceivable that I could have been blown off the boat, together with the boxes, of course, and sail away (hopefully on top of the boxes, as on a magic carpet) from the boat into Never, Never Land. Ah, yes, this was my adventure yesterday.
